Nationality and residence
In order to use digital onboarding, your client must live in an EU member state, an EEA member state or in Switzerland.
- Natural persons 18 and older domiciled in the EU, the EEA or Switzerland
- Maximum two relationship owners
- No insider positions at exchange-listed companies
- Compliance with general cross-border provisions during the client interaction
Technology and documents
Your clients must have their passport or ID ready on hand for digital onboarding. If they would like to complete the onboarding process on a smartphone, they must first download an app.
- Computer with a web camera or smartphone (via IDnow app)
- A web browser that is currently up to date
- A stable internet connection
- Mobile phone (for receiving SMS)
- Passport (international) or ID (EU, EEA, CH)
Digitally available forms
Not all forms are currently available in digital onboarding. The following list contains all of the forms that are already available digitally.
- Application to open a new business relationship (natural persons)
- Signature card (SC) for natural persons and power of attorney (PoA)
- E-mail agreement
