Reading time: 3 Min
The first VP Bank Rally is set to be held on 15 and 16 June. The première will entail a unique, challenging rally experience passing through the most beautiful landscapes and featuring culinary and cultural highlights in the region of VP Bank’s headquarters.

The première is drawing closer: The classic cars will be maintained to a technically impeccable standard and then polished to a high shine. Meaning that they will be ready on 15 June for a very special adventure. Together with the RAID organisation, VP Bank has created a rally that combines culinary experiences with cultural insights. “Our vision is to convince with unique client experiences, and RAID took this as the guiding principle when creating the rally. The VP Bank Rally comprehensively fulfils this objective,” says Christoph Mauchle, member of Group Executive Management at VP Bank Group.

As the partner and title sponsor of the rally, VP Bank is convinced that classic car aficionados will be able to add a new highlight to their calendar with this event. Christoph Mauchle also sees parallels between the classic car experience and the bank: “VP Bank combines traditional values with innovative, new developments. Involvement in the rally therefore dovetails perfectly with our bank.” In addition to the VP Bank Rally, the bank also promotes young classical music talent with the VP Bank Classic Festival and offers young women golfers the opportunity to compete internationally at the VP Bank Ladies Open.

Pleasure on and alongside the route

With the RAID organisation, VP Bank secured a distinguished and extremely expert partner with many years of experience in the organisation of classic car rallies. The rally route passes through the most beautiful countryside. At the same time, however, the rally will also be a challenging, at times sporty drive. The Grand Resort Bad Ragaz is the start and also the host resort of the first VP Bank Rally, a location that celebrates historical values together with first-class gastronomy created by Michelin-starred chefs. On the first day the approximately 250 kilometre route passes through Vorarlberg to Vaduz. The second day leads 230 kilometres from Bad Ragaz via Schwägalp to St. Gallen and the Zurich Oberland region. 40 classic cars will be taking part in the exclusive rally, meaning that the VP Bank Rally is sold out.

VP Bank employees launched the rally

One week before the big event, VP Bank employees unofficially kicked off the first VP Bank Rally with a special initiative. A group of employees completed a 120 kilometre section of the rally route around the Alpstein Massif on their bicycles, gathering first impressions of the impressive scenery.
