VP Bank enters into partnership with Swiss Golf
VP Bank has been successfully involved in golf for many years, for example with the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open, its cooperation with golfer Chiara Tamburlini and its partnership with the Bad Ragaz Golf Club. Urs Monstein, CEO of VP Bank Group, explains: «The partnership with Swiss Golf is a logical next step. It brings together our existing commitments to form a coherent whole.» Swiss Golf is dedicated to promoting young talent, an objective that VP Bank also shares. This partnership represents a joint approach aimed at supporting the development of golf, particularly young talent.
Wildcards for Switzerland's largest women's golf tournament
VP Bank's commitment to promoting talent is demonstrated by the awarding of wildcards for Switzerland's largest women's golf tournament, the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open. Young female golfers from Sweden and Singapore have already had the opportunity to gain valuable experience competing internationally. This year, an additional wildcard will be awarded to a player from Germany – another step towards supporting up-and-coming talent and offering them a platform to demonstrate their abilities.
Passion, discipline and role models
A key aspect of nurturing talent is collaborating with Chiara Tamburlini, one of Switzerland's most accomplished golfers. She secured second place in last year's VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open. She embodies values such as motivation, discipline and passion. These are qualities that are also central to VP Bank. In her role as ambassador, she aims to inspire young people and demonstrate that commitment and perseverance pay off.
