Declaration on accessibility
This accessibility statement applies to the following websites, web applications and mobile applications of the VP Bank Group:
Websites and web applications:
Mobile applications:
Status of compliance with requirements
Due to the following incompatibilities or exceptions, the websites and mobile applications mentioned are partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 at conformity level AA or with the applicable European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) in accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
The incompatibilities or exceptions are listed below.
a) Incompatibility with accessibility regulations
Due to security requirements and the technical measures necessary to meet them (e.g. verification mechanisms, access restrictions, mandatory timeouts) and the use of technical terms common in the financial sector, some content or functions are not currently fully accessible.
b) Disproportionate burden
VP Bank's core digital offerings have been developed and continuously expanded over many years. Retrofitting all components to meet all accessibility requirements would only be possible at disproportionate cost. New solutions are designed to be accessible, and existing restrictions are being reduced step by step.
c) The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legal provisions
- Third-party content from external providers is excluded from the scope of application. This applies, for example, to integrated services such as videos, maps or interactive displays. VP Bank has no influence on the functionality of these services. Barriers may occur.
- PDF files (brochures, fact sheets, forms) that were not created for web use are not consistently accessible. We provide accessible alternatives for material information upon request.
- Archived content and temporary campaigns may be exempt from the accessibility requirement. The current criteria are applied to new publications.
