Whatever the case, be it within or outside the Bank, art patronage should enable as many people as possible to encounter art. This is one of the most important objectives of VP Bank’s entire commitment to art, including the VP Bank Art Foundation, which encourages art and a greater understanding of it.
The VP Bank Art Foundation collects specific artworks for exhibition in spaces throughout the Bank.
Through this daily encounter with the works, employees and clients alike are invited to interact with art. Within the environment of an established system, one’s perception is broadened.
Ever since the ‘70s, VP Bank has systematically acquired artworks with a view toward the concept of «Art in the workplace». This activity ultimately led to the founding of the VP Bank Art Foundation in 1996.
In keeping with its art collection philosophy, VP Bank has focused in recent years mainly on paintings from the second half of the 20th century. Collected are works of regional as well as international artists.
