The annual report assessment conducted by the Swiss business magazine BILANZ, the largest review of its kind in Switzerland, has arrived at its decisions on the best annual reports for 2007. Of the 129 participating companies, VP Bank shared first place with four other companies in the “Design” category. |
Ranked 10th in 2006, 14th last year, and now No. 1 in 2008 for our annual report that covered the 2007 financial year: this testifies to the fact that our annual reports have long been highly regarded in terms of design. “For years now, VP Bank has pursued an absolutely distinct illustrative style and thereby positioned itself as a true ‘lifestyle bank’”, emphasized Peter Vetter – head of the Design Committee – during the awards ceremony held on September 25, 2008, at the University of Applied Sciences (UAS)) in Zurich. In the opinion of the jury, our annual report was designed in a blithe yet informative way – with carefully crafted graphics and tables interspersed with lavish illustrations.
Also in the “Value Rating” assessment of the reportage in our 2007 annual report, VP Bank garnered the enviable 8th place. Although we failed to make it to the medal ranks in this category, VP Bank nevertheless outshined major Swiss companies such as Roche, Credit Suisse and Swiss Re in terms of the informational content of the annual report.
This award confirms the conceptual and creative ability of our Bank and gives us inspiration to maintain and continue to further our high level of quality.
